I'm maintaining a Travel Log and a history of my Tribulations!  To me 'Tribulations' are all the 'How-To', 'Lessons Learned', Expenses and Mileage stuff!  But there'll also be some trivia about roads & routes, things to see, campgrounds, restaurants, washaterias (Laundromat to all non-Texans), communicating on the road, changes or additions made to the coach, etc.  And maybe even the occasional 'rant' --

Next you'll find some links I've found helpful, a little about myself, then last, but by no means least, a comments page that's especially for you...  the reader!  Use the 'Send a comment' link that's included on almost every page.  Feel free to discuss any part of the site, any aspect of my travels, any article or rant, or anything else you'd like.  I only ask that you keep it 'civil'!

((Note:  Not every comment will make the 'Reader Comments' page.  If several comments about a particular topic are received I'll use a representative sample on the page!  If you prefer your comments AREN'T published on the 'Reader Comments' page just tell me in your e-mail...  but I'll still respond personally to each and every comment you send)).

On occasion, especially the first time you e-mail, it'll take a little while for the e-mail to work its way through the e-mail server and configuration I'm using.  Every new e-mail goes into a queue, then my server will automatically contact your e-mail server to verify that the e-mail really came from your server, not from a spoofed server address. This is all automatic, behind the scenes stuff, and is called 'gray listing'.  Once the servers have verified the e-mail, I have a choice of 'approving it', or not approving it!  Approving it, which I'll always do unless it's obvious Spam, will put your e-mail address on my servers 'white list'!  From then on e-mail will flow back and forth normally!  If I don't approve it, if it's from a known spammer or zombie for instance, then it'll go onto the 'black list' and any further e-mails from that address will automatically go into the bit bucket!  Basically it's all automatic, but it MIGHT slow down your FIRST e-mail to me by an hour or so!  If you have a problem with any of this, or think I might not be getting legitimate e-mail from you, please contact me at my alternate address: ((Kuma))

You can also 'Contact me' personally if you'd rather (the same 'gray / white / black' listing issues I discussed above will apply)...  so don't be strangers!

The site has been optimized for Internet Explorer 5.5+, on a STANDARD ASPECT MONITOR, using a screen resolution of 1024 x 768!  I also successfully tested the site on WIDE ASPECT MONITORS with various screen resolutions up to 1280x800.  Everything seems to display accurately, albeit differently!

Additionally, I tried Netscape 6.0, Firefox 1.5 and Oprah 8.5 on a STANDARD ASPECT MONITOR with screen resolutions from 1024 x 768 down to 800 x 600!  It seems to work fine, but the lower resolutions are admittedly a bit on the clunky side!

For the dial-up readers each page has been kept as small as possible to enhance site responsiveness!  However, if you encounter any problems please 'Contact me', explain what's happening, and I'll see what I can do!
